Training description

Training is designed for the team members of distributed teams (both employees as well as the managers) who want to improve quality of communication in their teams to boost collaboration and overall productivity.

Participants first learn the rules of efficient communication, and then have a chance to practice them based on real-life examples. Attendees leave the training with a set of good practices for both individual and team communication which can be implemented immediately.

Duration: 8 modules, 3×45 minutes each

Learn the rules and techniques of efficient communication and become aware of hindering factors

Becoming aware of differences, disadvantages and advantages of different virtual communication channels (synchronous vs. asynchronous communication)

Improve your ability to ability to communicate with people of different communication styles

Acquire constructive knowledge and skills of constructive conflict resolution skills in ambiguous situations defined as situations where there are conflicts of interest

Establish rules and good practices of communication to be used straight after the training.

After the training, the participants will:

Understand the effect of excellent communication on business results and good relationships within the team

Be aware aware of the rules for choosing the right channel and form of communication in line with the message they want to give

Know the rules and techniques of efficient communication to build better relationships with their peers

Recognise their own communication style as well as the styles of their coworkers so that they can properly adapt to them

Know how to constructively resolve situations of conflicting interests within the team

Have developed a set of good internal communication practices so that they can communicate more effectively in the future.

The training is run in a live environment, entirely remotely, and by a professional training consultant. It is supported by the most recent technologies and tools that facilitate effective learning and active collaboration between participants. It’s also split into short modules which makes it possible to run the training for a group that’s split across multiple, even extreme timezones.
